The Marlowe Society Newsletter

The Marlowe Society Newsletter

Published twice a year in the Spring and the Autumn, the Marlowe Society Newsletter contains shorter articles on a wide range of subjects relating to Marlowe, Elizabethan and Jacobean drama, as well as wider issues such as the Shakespearean Authorship debate.

Each issue includes news items of interest, reports on the latest work of the Society and forthcoming events, and also publishes reviews by Society members of books and play performances.

The Newsletter is published in A5 format, and typically comprises 32 pages plus cover. This format allows for about 500 words per page on average.

How to Order

How to Order

All members of the Society are sent each Newsletter as part of their Subscription. Non-members can purchase the latest issue of the Newsletter, and back issues can be ordered where they are still available for a modest price. The menu on the right can be used to peruse the contents listing for Newsletters (including a free sample article from each issue), or use the Article Index to locate articles on specific subjects.

Submissions

Submissions

Letters to the Editor, articles for the Newsletter, or outline proposals for the same should be sent to the Editor in good time for the next issue. Submissions should be in rich text file format if possible, attached to an email. Final deadlines for all contributions are typically 31 March for the Spring Newsletter, and 31 August for the Autumn Newsletter.

We are also pleased to receive information at any time about events, news item, or other matters that may be of interest to Society members. Contact the Editor, and we can publicise details on the website as well as in the Newsletter.
